Conference Table

This is, without a doubt, THE heaviest, THE largest, and THE most time consuming project to date.  This table stretches 108" in length and is 42" wide and was custom made to fit in the dedicated meeting room at our Church.  The top is constructed with solid Quarter Sawn White Oak (QSWO) at 1" thickness.  The Pedestals and the curved legs were pre-made, but the stretcher was cut to the right length out of 2" stock and attached to the pedestals.  The tabletop will come off the pedestals to allow for moving from room to room.  There is an apron that dresses the bottom edge, and every effort was made to allow the top to move with climate changes.  (8/2004)
